2024年12月16日 · A1: Quite a bit worse, with some really nasty focus shifts with no reason between shots. The lens plays a big role obviously, with the Sony 85 1.8 being the best (very small variations, and the Samyang 35 being the worst). When half pressing the shutter button, the autofocus sometimes does feel "nervous", adjusting the focus.

2024年2月11日 · Ive had periodic problems with my A1 freezing focus, displaying incompatible accessories etc. the problem goes away upon turning off the A1, pulling the battery holder from ghe Vello grip and reinserting them. Seems to happen when one of the 2 batteries gets low.

It starts to hunt and never really manages, even if I try to focus on different things. Sometimes it just focus on things that are close, but nothing far, and yes, I have the lens set to Full.

2024年6月4日 · 3 weeks ago I updated my a1 body firmware from 1.32 to 1.35 and then to 2.01 as instructed by the Sony website. I then updated my 200-600mm lens from firmware version 2 to 3. I have had the set for almost a year and was very happy with it. never had a problem.

2024年6月12日 · I've had my A1 paired with the 200-600 for about 1.5 years without a hitch, very good performance. After the double upgrade, my camera started randomly losing communication with the lens, causing the f- to appear in the viewfinder. The aperture then starts to pulse narrower and wider while the viewfinder slowly flickers.
Sony A1 update 1.31 Bird Eye AF no longer working
Bird Eye AF was working flawlessly until the update. Many others are reporting the same issue. Tried multiple combinations of AF modes but still no results like before. Having issues with BIF and static subjects. Human and Animal Eye AF seem to be working fine. Users with 400mm and 600mm primes seem unaffected too.
Sony A1 A1 + 200-600 focus problem after 2.01 firmware update
2024年5月19日 · Since I updated my A1 firmware to 2.01, I’ve been having intermittent focus problem with my 200-600. It works fine for a while then the EVF goes dull and the EVF F stop indicator goes to F- and the camera won’t focus. Turning off then on again sometimes works but a couple of times the EVF has remained black after turning on.
