Later, as vinyl was fading and the CD became king, the latter was mastered specifically for CD. Then with the resurgence of vinyl, it was pressed using the CD masters.

You'll get some commercial CDs do this, either because they're not in the database or because it's a different pressing but maybe with the same checksum (or whatever it uses).

It could be bad quality CDs i was using since it was mostly homemade CDs i was recording from or like i thought maybe the way i had set the graphic equalizer had affected the sound in someway.
