Clash Royale should not have such silver bullet cards. A decent parallelism of the situation is the Electric Giant versus a deck without buildings, just ten times worse. The Skeletons Evolution basically take away quite a chunk of strategy from the game: you require a spell that's more expensive than 1 elixir and ideally is a 2 or 3 cost ...

Here's my thought: Clash Royale secretly has this thing called a game counter and a win counter. Game counter counts the number of games played within a period of time and win counter counts the number of wins in that period of time.

The same apply to Clash Royale. ...to keep matchmaking times acceptable, these parameters will increase by a further +1 / -1 every 5 seconds of search time, up to a maximum of +3 / -3 at 10 seconds...

2023年7月1日 · This change is akin to adding jetpacks to counter strike. For me the solution to keeping clash royale fresh was never to keep making gameplay changes and adding new cards for the sake of it, but to update the game around the core gameplay, such as the first 2v2 update and through card balances.

2024年3月4日 · I started noticing how much Clash Royale was trying to make me buy in app purchases about a month ago. I’m level 8 and I’m normally paired with lvl. 8 as well, however now they’ve been pairing me with lvl 10’s and lvl 9’s. I have not a single lvl 13 card in my whole deck, and yet every person I play with has lvl 13’s and lvl 12 cards.

I played coc, cr and bs during the releases and even beta, coc scaled well (although goes the wrong direction now) bs did perfect for multipke years, kinda dipped down last few months, and clash royale… is the same exact game with worse pass and events (whuch is a good addition but seriously the only decent addition)
