Canon has announced a 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor with a mindboggling 410 million pixels, the world's highest pixel count.

Using its hardware and software, PxE aims to upgrade standard 2D cameras into multi-functional 3D systems while maintaining the size, cost structure and image quality of standard cameras.
