Hawaii Senator Brian Schatz is taking a stance in part of the democratic fight against the shutdown of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The move would require Senate Majority Leader John Thune to use precious floor time to advance the president’s nominees through the confirmation process.

Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, announced Monday he will place a blanket hold on all of President Trump’s nominees to the State Department until
