Commanders owner Josh Harris said Monday that the team plans to keep its name, which has come to mean something after this season when Washington went to the NFC Championship Game.

Since the Washington, D.C. NFL team changed its name to the Commanders in 2020, some fans have wanted to see the return of the squad's old name and logo—despite origins that have been criticized as offensive or racist. But don't expect the new name to be going anywhere anytime soon.
