Police say Luis Valentine abducted 2-year-old girl Camila Guzman in Fort Myers and fled to Cape Coral. Officials tell Fox 4 the man is the child's mother's ex-boyfriend.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued an Amber Alert for 2-year-old Camila Guzman. They say she may be in the company of Luis Valentin. FDLE says Guzman was last seen in Cape Coral, FL

According to the alert, Camila Guzman went missing earlier in the day from the area around Deleon Street, south of Colonial Boulevard, in Fort Myers. At the time, she was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt and black pants. After she disappeared, Camila may have been seen on Southeast 5th Avenue, in Cape Coral.

If you see Camila Guzman or Luis Valentin, you are asked not to approach them and instead call the Fort Myers Police Department at 239-321-7700 or 911.

A two-year-old girl was abducted in Fort Myers on Monday, according to the Cape Coral Police Department. CCPD states they are working to find Camilla Guzman, 2, and the suspect, Luis Valentin, 24, with the help of the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
